About me

Hi! 👋

My name is Ilya, and I am a software developer from Riga🇱🇻 currently based in Tallinn🇪🇪.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve been doing mobile software development — starting with Maemo and Meego, then Android, and eventually iOS.
Today, I focus primarily on building mobile experiences with Flutter and helping my teams scale development by shaping architecture and streamlining CI/CD automation.

I have a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and every day I do my best to be, as they say, the person my dog believes I am.
In my spare time, I am a film buff, a hockey fan (Go Devils!), and an admirer of everything food-related.
I love cooking, and after finishing high school, I almost went to culinary arts school in hopes of becoming a chef. I chose software development, since programming had interested me for as long as I can remember, though I still occasionally wonder about a timeline where food played an even larger role in my life.
